The Whitney Point High School Student Council would like to send a special thank you to all of those who donated towards our holiday food baskets. We were able to create 70 baskets for those in need in our community alongside donating many items towards Whitney Point Food Pantry. Thank you so much for your support.

Take a look at this! Our Transitional Skills Class made "Darn-It" dolls for the community organization, It's Raining Lemonade. These will be donated in gift bags to Meals on Wheels recipients!

ANNOUNCEMENT: The new dates for WPHS Drama Club's Production of 'The Crucible' have been announced! Come support our students Friday, December 9th and Saturday, December 10th at 7:00 pm at the WPHS Auditorium!

Join us in celebrating our students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character through their induction into the Whitney Point Chapter of the National Honor Society! Dec. First at 6:00 pm.

A few weeks ago, Community Schools in partnership with the Freshman Academy brought in Cornell Cooperative Extension’s nutrition educator Ann Supa for a cooking class series! The students made an apple salad! This was one class in a series of three!

Dress in your Patriotic Best and support our Boy's JV and Varsity Basketball teams on Tuesday, November 29th! JV starts at 5:30 and Varsity to follow at 7:00!

The Transitional Skills Class at the High School made a Thanksgiving dinner today! Yum!

Students in Mrs. Monico and Mr. Nardocci’s Class are powering hand-made cars by balloon! They are learning the concept of Distance = Rate x Time through applied math! According to Mrs. Monico, each car has to travel at least 5 ft. and in roughly a straight line!

Recently, WP senior football players attend St. John Fisher for a visit and to watch them play RPI. Shout out to Brett Segala on the WP coaching staff who was able to get the players access to the field and St. John Fisher staff. We hope that some of our players will continue on to a college education & potentially even play on the next level.
